Kate Jackson rose to fame as the lead singer of unique indie-rockers The Long Blondes, who enjoyed three top-40 singles, while seeing their two albums reach number one and number two in the UK indie chart.

After an eight year hiatus Kate is back with her first solo album that she recorded with guitarist and producer Bernard Butler. In late 2015 Kate approached us and asked if we would produce the layout design for her comeback album. Kate came to us with scans of her paintings, a word document of lyrics and a logo and we brought it together into one cohesive package.

We put together this album with the intention of creating an elegantly classic piece of design that places her artwork front and centre.

This album has since gone on to be nominated for Best Art Vinyl 2016 and we are proud to have lead the art direction for the project and created the layout design for both the vinyl and CD releases.
